Senior Portraits

I can't tell you how guilty I feel when I am behind on blog posts. So let's just say I have a lot of guilt at the moment. I am going to try my best this week to catch up a bit. Let's see how that goes!

I received an email from Lake's mother that just made me smile. She wrote that she met me in my 'about me' section of my website and knew that we would be a perfect fit. Then after speaking to JoLynn I found out that we're practically neighbors. She has a wonderful son that I know she is proud of and he was a lot of fun to photograph.




It was cloudy through the session, but right as we were finishing the sun peaked out through the clouds and lit up the trees behind us.





After we finished our session, Lake was telling me what kind of music he liked and just started playing a little as he talked. Of course I had to take my lens cap back off and start shooting. That is such a smoothing sound to me as I grew up listening to my father play this way.
