This family was more than a bunch of troopers for their shoot. On vacation from out of state, they just happened to have a tropical storm during their weekend in Maine. I don't know if I've ever had a family work so hard at getting a session accomplished, in the rain and be so pleasant about it all.
This guy was a little shy for the camera at times, but his Dad was great at getting him distracted and laughing. All the parents were great about helping the session along to get us out of the rain!
The proud grandparents and the adorable grandchildren...I love how the little boy is putting his feet in his sister's hair with that great look on his face.
This little one turned a year old the next day!
Definitely a happy baby!
I could have just scooped these two up and taken them home with me. They were adorable with their curly hair and beautiful eyes. They're such a fun age too!

This lovely lady was too shy for me to take her photo alone, but I was happy to capture a moment with her and her sweet niece!
I just love her lifting her little foot and you can almost see her big toe reaching down...
These two cousins were trying to warm up after the session.

I love the reflection of the family running to the ocean...
Thank you for having me take your family portraits!
Much Love,
Shannon
